gysers

this is the road that goes through Yellowstone National Park. highway 20 or 191 or something like that. yes, we saw lots of bison. I don't know where those pictures ended up.

but here is one of dear Kimberly Barnes and I. thank you, cousin Melissa, for taking the picture and being the driver on this most wonderful of roadtrips. :)

alberta, canada

I was looking through photo albums from the time I spent in Canada. and I came across these.

my best guess is that they were taking in a car traveling along Highway 5, south from Lethbridge.

but my memories of then aren't completely solid. all I have are these pictures and a fuzzy mental map of space and time to pin them down on.

9000 South, Salt Lake City

I want to say this is 9000 South anyway... but it could very well be any eastbound cross-street in the whole valley. I can't remember. but the sky looks lovely and windswept, doesn't it?

Farrington highway, northwest Oahu

we were driving back from a short hike up to Ka'ena Point. the hike was lovely and flat, the day semi-cloudy and not too hot. we saw one fat monk seal and no albatrosses.

oh so many pretty beaches. if I were homeless, I would live there. perhaps even if I weren't homeless...

I spotted this from Ashley Simko's blog of very concise observations. it has a meta-fuzz to it. mm.
